Ster is an artist whose practice is deeply rooted in the exploration of natural processes and the transformative power of materials. Like an alchemist, Ster transforms, extracts, or fuses these elements to reveal their hidden potential. They extract pigments from plants, melt sand into glass, and transform rust into vibrant red forms within glass. Ster’s work aims to inspire a sense of wonder and awe for the non-human world.
